About Your Trainer

Hi there, I'm Phil Askew. With 15 years under my belt as a practising coach and mentor, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of individuals and groups during this time.

I honed my skills as a brand strategist in the creative, tech and innovation spaces, then trained to be a coach in 2008. Today, I am a PCC and serve as a mentor for the ICF as well as for ACT Leadership. I have run my own private practice since day one and love it!

My driving passion is supporting coaches to be the best they can be and have practices that enable them to thrive. This involves marrying solid business foundations with a heartfelt desire to serve. Meaning a practice that not only succeeds but truly makes a difference.

Will this help me build a successful practice?

If you put what I teach you in the course into practice, you'll get a working methodology that ultimately brings in clients, visibility and new business. On top of that, you'll gain clarity, momentum and confidence around WHO you coach and WHY. 

Is this course just for Life Coaches?

This system works for Life Coaches, Business Coaches, Leadership Coaches etc. Anybody who uses the modality of coaching to support people to move from being stuck to whatever they want to achieve. 

I'm not a new coach, will I benefit from the course?

In many ways! I have designed the lessons to provide value both to coaches in training about to launch as well as seasoned coaches who yearn to grow their practice with clients that are a much better fit for them.

Will you talk figures and fees?

We'll look at that definitely, I have a process called 'resonant pricing'; more importantly we'll be looking into how you build strong relationships and partnerships to ultimately land clients, regularly.

What is the Manifesto and why do I need one?

The Manifesto is a clear and easy-to-comprehend document outlining who you work with, how you help them and why it matters. You might also call it a personal coaching mission statement. In module 1, we'll dive into a range of aspects focussing on your niche that will help you clearly articulate yourself; no more tripping over your words when somebody asks you what you do!

I am a visual learner will there be diagrams or models?

Great question; yes, I have a graphic design background and am also a visual learner! Every lesson will feature some visual training and the reference material I share with you does too.

How many will be in a cohort?

A maximum of 20 students will be in the cohort. I want to ensure we have the time and space to really connect and address your specific predicaments.
