2. What are the Values of your dream clients?
In this lesson, we start exploring the values you want your clients to have. Because yes, you do get to choose!
Often we don't take this into account when we are looking for clients. We've undoubtedly done a lot of work around our own values, but it's important to understand the drivers and motivators for those clients you want to work with too.
After all, you'll spend many hours together in sessions on a fairly regular basis; you don't want this to feel like a drag. That really wouldn't serve either of you.
So, as a trained coach, no doubt you have a good understanding of what values are, so I won't go into great depth; my interpretation is this:
๐Action Steps:
So now take some time to capture some of your own values; which ones are core to who you are?
Maybe it's:
Sharing my passion with like-minded people around personal growth.
Engaging in play, fun and adventure.
Spending quality time in the peace and quiet of nature.
Then, shift over to imagine their values - what do you suppose they might be?
You're just using your intuition here and some historical experience of who you might have coached before.
What values must they possess so that when you saw their name in your calendar, you'd be filled with energy and excitement to jump on the call?
You may well come up with lots of similarities between theirs and yours - that's totally fine!
